This year Burford saw the 4th Annual Fall Home Decorating Contest with increased participation and community involvement producing some great decorated homes and making the judges’ decisions very tough!
The contest was sponsored by:
Kim Bailey-Brown, Real Estate Agent, who supplied a $100 gift card;
Sandy Vandewalle, who supplied $50 and $25 gift cards;
Burford Agricultural Society, who provided 4 passes to the Burford Fair and prize ribbons for the winners, and
Redline Properties, this years judges.
As part of this year’s theme extra points were given to participants who promoted the Burford Fair. A lot of detail and effort went into the decorating. This years winners are:
First Prize: Lorne B. and Dianne M. of 373 Maple Ave. S., Burford
Second Prize: Angela H. of 93 King St., Burford
Third Prize: Linda O. of 144 King St., Burford
Runner Up: Susan R. of 66 8th Concession
The Home Decorating Contest is a passion project for Kim Bailey-Brown, who wants to show the visitors and residents of Burford the heart of her community.
