You can learn more about the original contest rules here.

For the first ever contest having been held we had an amazing turnout with 10 entries! The judging and decision making was very hard, but after a great length of time three (3) winners were finally decided upon.

Congratulations to the 2016 Burford, ON. winners:
1st Place:    Connie and Mitchell Reavely   –   149 King St, Burford, ON.
2nd Place: Angela Henry                                  –   93 King St. Burford, ON.
3rd Place:  Warren and MaryAnn Bell       –  387 Maple Ave. S. Burford, ON.

It was amazing to see the level of engagement and participation of the local community! Participation included initiatives from mom/daughter, husband/wife, grandma/grandson, kids, business’s, even youth and children from daycare.

This entire event was a tremendous honor to help sponsor and be a part of. I had a lot of fun meeting people, admiring all the decorations and building awareness of the Burford Fair.

A board of the winners and honorable mentions for all participants was on display at the fair and is shown in the video within this blog post. We had a professional photographer take pictures of all the displays.

The contest was sponsored by myself Realtor® Kim Bailey-Brown and The Burford Agricultural Society. Prizes donated by myself, the Burford Agricultural Society and Sandy Vandewalle.

Take a moment to look through the beauty of the contest entries.

Be sure to look for the same contest next year!
