August typically has a slow down period. But not this year, inventory is still low across the regions giving sellers generally their asking price and some a lot over what they are asking. This makes it difficult for buyers in this market.
Sales are down due to covid, however home owners have seen a double digit increase in their home values.

Buyers: Need to be educated more on the market so you don’t continue to loose out in bidding offers.

Sellers: Now is not the time to do it alone. Chances of you leaving money on the table in this market is higher.
